Ok, here is the David Byrne’s installation that I missed while being in NY!
Playing the Building is a sound installation in which the building itself is converted into a giant musical instrument. Different types of devices are attached to the building structure in order to make these elements produce the sounds.
Can architecture get closer to music than this?
